Terry Barber is an American countertenor.

Terry Barber graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance and a Musical Theater Certificate from Northwestern University. He received his Master Of Music degree and a post-graduate performance certificate with highest distinction from London’s Trinity College of Music. After completing his studies, Barber took a position teaching advanced vocal ensembles at Trinity College. He also began a touring career, touring England with the Kent Opera’s production of Monteverdi Orfeo.
Barber is the lead vocalist for Adiemus Vocalise and New Trinity Baroque ensembles and a past member of Chanticleer. He has recorded several tracks for the Buddha Bar series including the club hit, "The World Is A Stage" as well as solo vocals for Sony Classical, Warner Teldec, EMI, Dorian, and Columbia Records.
Barber joined the roster of the Metropolitan Opera for the 2002 season.[1] His debut performance at Carnegie Hall was in the role of Orlovsky in Die Fledermaus on New Year's Eve 2004. Barber has also performed as a soloist for the New York City Opera, Spoleto Festival USA, and New York Collegium.[2]
